Fear not! Below I have put a few of my frequently asked questions about yoga during pregnancy.


What is pregnancy yoga?

Pregnancy yoga is a much more gentle style of yoga, allowing you to stretch, relax and bond with your bump.


I’ve never tried yoga before, is that okay?

Of course! I welcome regular yogis and first-timers too. No matter what level you are at, I will help coach and guide you throughout the class.


Where are your classes?

All of my classes are in and around Warrington in Cheshire. I run weekly classes in Stockton Heath and Woolton for antenatal yoga and a weekly class in Winwick for post-natal yoga.


What can I expect from a pregnancy yoga class?

I welcome all levels of yoga fitness to my classes. We start with a chat about our thoughts and feelings before moving onto yoga poses that are ideal for pregnant mums. We then move on to some meditation to calm the mind.


Can I bring my partner along?

My pregnancy yoga classes are designed for mums only. If you would like a private yoga class for you and your partner in the comfort of your own home, feel free to get in touch with me to discuss your options in more detail.


Are you a One To One Midwife?

No, One To One Midwives are a company that is contracted by the NHS to provide additional healthcare and midwifery services within the Cheshire and Wirral area. I am an independent yoga teacher offering my yoga and hypnobirthing classes as a support network for pregnant mums in and around Warrington.


Do you provide one to one classes?

Yes, I can provide one to one pregnancy yoga and hypnobirthing classes, depending on what you need. If you are interested in pregnancy yoga, I would suggest coming along to one of my classes in Warrington to help connect you with other mums. You can take part in my hypnobirthing workshops as part of a group or we can arrange a private one to one class.


What should I bring to a pregnancy yoga class?

You should bring water to stay hydrated, a yoga mat and a pillow to support you during the relaxation part of the class. I do keep a couple of spare mats however, they can go quickly.
